I think that kids would like this boat and kayak in it. and the paint on the boat looks cool.

If my nana will give me this chocolate, i will try to eat the half of the packet.

In the inside the chocolate it contains green mint and little pieces of black chocolate . But on the outside it has chocolate. And i kinda like the chocolate product.

It looked yuck but if I tasted the chocolate it tasted like mint and i am not a big fan of mint but is tasted yummy and crunchy. The first time i ate the chocolate it taste yuck but then i get use it.when I felt it the corners of the chocolate it was rough.but on the top it was smooth. It smelt like mint and chocolate together and it tasted like toothpaste

Have less mint. More crunch in it.


You have to sell this chocolate .

I woke up on a island. There's sand in my close and wet too. I was mad and scared then I cried and my legs was wobbling. I see trees on the island I had an idea and I see sticks and stones on the beach.

I went in the forest is see sticks and stones I gather as much as I could and build a campfire and shelter so i cold be warm inside. Then climb a tree and get giant leaves. I try make fire before sunset.   
I find sticks and a sharp stone and sharp the stick to make a spear to catch a fish. Then stab coconuts from a tree and drink the drink in the coconut I go into the trees and try find some kind of meat like rabbit,fox,pig,lamb and chicken. First I make a snare (a snare is some kind of lure I use)I put the snare where animals eat like a bush and I any bait inside the snare. Climb a tree and I waited then I saw a animal trigger my snare so I take that animal it was a rabbit and make a cooking spit.

I try to make a fire a big fire and it's very hard to make it and you sweat a lot. when it’s on fire I put big and small if i wanted too. Then i went to sleep.

The next day I woke up and saw a rescue helicopter. It must of seen my smoke that I made yesterday . it landed on the beach and I walked up to the driver of the helicopter.  I was pleased and felt good then he took me home.

lepa Immersion Assembly Template

The first day of school. We heard that your topic was “now that’s thinking”.
We had to think about great or smart ideas for this term. The teachers were thinking about your topic is.


As i said now that’s thinking is our topic for this term. It’s like we had to use your
brain very good and focus on your work. Team one and two are doing kite’s this term.
Team three are doing matariki and team five are fixing their stuff around their classes.


Our team (team four) topic is what kind of technology did Maori use before pakeha arrived in new Zealand.
We had a movie that the team four teacher’s made and thinking what our topic is.
Our teachers think we can time travel back in time.


I hope we learn about constructing small and cool things that team four can build with steel,
wood,metal and screws. Another thing that i want to learn about is how maori cook their food in the olden days
because microwaves and ovens.

I think the school topic is great and smart. Because in the holiday were wernt smart

lepa Eating Insects

Walt: write a recount using descriptive language.
This day on thursday when we did super silent reading, I
saw a package on Mrs Stickland’s table. When we finished our reading Mrs Stickland opened the package and we saw two packs of Crickets.

Mrs Stickland gave us napkin to put the Crickets and gave us mud that tasted like chocolate. Then we ate the crickets and the first one. I ate was disgusting and crying. It tasted like burnt toast.

When it was the end. I didn’t like it and I don’t want to eat it for the rest of my life.Mrs Sticland took our napkin.

One day an insect named Willy he lives in this tree called the black tree. Another spider named called Tama he lives in the light tree. The light tree and the dark tree are enemies because they had a war so they can get the light tree and the dark tree.


But Willy and Tama are different they don’t like fighting,Tama and Willy are secret friends.
Because when they were babies insects and spiders were friends. Until Tama and Willy were older the insect and spiders were enemies.

Tama and Willy were playing tag.Two hours later Tama was cheating and they were fighting.then the parents came and looked mad at Tama and Willy and took then to their home. One day they went outside and fight each other and two hours later and Tama got defeated and die.THE END

lepa's Year 5/6 Camp Writing

My writing is going to be about year five and six camp, And what we did at camp and it’s was fun.


Camp is where you sleep in tents at the school field and not in your house at
school in term one week six in 2017. And the activities were kayaking,youth town
,killer zone (not violent just a game),rollerblading,table tennis bike tracking,and concert practice.


The highlight of camp was doing kayaking because you can get wet and people
was falling of the kayak.And killer zone because we used water balloons and the
last one is at the gi (short for glenn innes)pools and the last thing is concert on thursday


I would like to say to Mr burt for making this camp possible and say thanks
to the parents and teachers and our team leader, Mr sommerville. And my mum

At camp you need to do is have fun and in the future for every student has to do is teamwork.

lepa's This week my number is - Winds

lepa's Newspaper Towers

Walt: write a recount about our experience.
Have you ever builded a tower made out of newspaper before?
Have you ever seen a newspaper tower before?
Have you ever had a newspaper tower before?

Once i was listening i thought Mr Goodwin said paper towels but he said paper towers then he said
to go  into groups of five.there name was,Awathan,Justice,Deavay,hopa, and me.we had materials
They were… seven newspaper,masking tape,and scissors then we the Mr Goodwin told us to start building.

We came up something,we were planning to roll to make thin long tubes up and tape tube to tube
and tape on to the ground so is firmly stands up and make two more tubes on the sides so it can
balance the tower then we thought there was no tube at the back of the tower so we draw another
tube at the back.

When we started we rolled up the newspaper.And we place the newspaper upsides and taped it on the floor and went up with other newspaper.We rolled more newspaper and it started to lean and fall.So we put more tape on the other side that was not leaning.We put three rolled newspaper and taped it to the long newspaper tubeon each side two on the side and one on the back and it stood up.

Our group won the challenge.The hard part was standing the tower up.the other group thought we copied they're one.And it not just the tallest tower, you have to balance the tower.
Task description: room seven did a experiment of how big can your newspaper tower can go and our one was very big.
