Term 4 Immersion assembly

This term's theme is Life is a stage. Meaning we would do plays and dramatic scenes.

I predict that there will be a “Got Talent” later this term. Our teachers kind of mentioned it, but I don't know. Anyways this term is alright because everyone is getting a bit tired and grumpy. 

Team one's Message was anyone can dance and no one is different. The story was Cinderella, her sister was putting her down because they think she can't dance and yeah.

Team two was without using your mouth, using body language to show our emotions. Also moving your body around get nice and active! People would people usually play games and stay at the exact spot for hours so yeah, do stuff…

Team three’s item is showing the point England way and how do it. One example. Sit up for your teacher if he or she is in a bad mood before they go crazy

Team four was interviewing characters from the toy shop production. When each person interviews are finished, they all dance to their song from the production.

Lastly, team five which is the greatest team in our school. Anyways our teachers were dancing to shakira, Waka Waka and Blanco Brown, The git up. The message was moving your body around while dancing to something.

WRITING T3 W4

Did you know that this week on Wednesday, around New Zealand is strike day?

Teachers want to have more time to teach students instead of doing paperwork all day.
Teachers want more time to teach their kids but their to busy doing work for the
government!

Also students need resources for their learning, meaning that kids need help with their
behavior because they can’t control how they act.

Did you know that teachers don’t get paid much? That’s why most people don’t want
to be teachers. Every teacher wants to get a better pay!

Well my friend and I agree that teachers should get paid more, have more time
teaching students and helping unbehaving students to control how they act.

T3 Move ya' body!

When we sat down in the hall and waited for sometime then a hairy girl-looking came on stage and started
to dance. Also he told us to stand up and dance. So we did.

Most of the year seven and eights wasn't very active. So I just raised my hand up and down.I liked all of the
other teams but I liked our team because they did a play and every move Ms Tapuke they did Mr wiseman
tried to nail it. But instead he was silly and rolled over the stage.

Motutapu island :)

On Sunday the tenth of June Me and Monika were going to Motutapu island. We drove to Auckland
city harbor.we waited for some time and brushed our shoes so that doesn't spread diseases to the trees
. Then finally, our ferry arrived! Then we board the ferry,It was shaky and we decided to climb to the top
of the ferry. It was boring at the top because there were only chairs but it was ok...Then a LOUD horn
beeped and I got scared then we set off to motutapu island. Then the boat went faster then we stood

up and it was very windy and it nearly blew us away and I wanted to think my scarf was a flag. We
thought we were going straight to Motutapu island but NOPE! We were going to get some people at
“Devonport”It took ages to dock. I only saw FOUR PEOPLE ON THE DOCK!! And facepalm my
forehead then we set off AGAIN… Then suddenly it went FASTER! It was getting colder and colder,
My legs we're freezing of the wind under me. Also all my body parts we freezing dead motutapu island.

Dear helpers,Thank you for everything you did at Athletics Day.It was exciting and fun,I loved it.

Athletics day was very fun and also very AWESOME! Also it was kinda funny as well. Is was a great day.

My favourite sport is dodgeball.I was cheering for my mate because he was the last one standing for his team.Also at high jump,Leite was the last one to jump over the pole and he did!Everyone was running to him and was yelling as well.

Next year I hope it will be more fun.Also more stuff to do.Next year i might be able to be more better.

I enjoyed doing Athletic day.Also i learnt to not jump over the pole with two legs together in high jump.

Have you ever heard Music?.Well our whole school is learning about music,We had our school teams

doing their stuff.Also i am excited to start this term.

Our school theme is music madness! It is about music and instruments.Team 1-5 are learning about music as well,the other teams had plays and movies about what they are doing this term.

Team four is making our own music and instruments.For our team movie was our teachers carpooling in there vehicle ,also when they parked in our school carpark then mr j winded his window in his van and Showed off his tunes.      

I want to learn about playing instruments that i never played before.Also i hope that we can play appropriate music.Lastly i want to learn about How to use weird  instruments.   

I think this term's theme is great.I would like some music in my life.

On thursday we went to Stardome. It was a place where we learn about space and our solar

system. Stardome is in auckland,One tree hill and that's where Team four went.

We jumped on the bus and went to stardome.Then we arrived, our teacher Mr goodwin said that we had spare time to do anything.There was a park next to stardome and we play on it.Mr called us then we went to stardome.

Ours teachers took us inside stardome. We sat down in chairs and learnt about space.Then we had a quizz,we had a paper and pen to write down the answers. We had to go around inside stardome there was pictures and writing under the picture.

When we finished the quiz we were lead into the dome.I imagined shooting an arrow at the top of the dome, like on the hunger games. Inside the dome were laid-back chairs to watch the movie upwards. When it was done we went outside then we jumped on the bus back to school.

I enjoyed watching the movie on the dome.I learnt that we can't hold the sun.Also i learnt that the sun is the biggest star in our solar system.I learnt too that uranus and neptune are ice giants in our solar system

lepa Cross Country

Walt: structure a recount. 

Last friday we Had a school cross country run. When we we're waiting for the year sixes(Me and the year sixes.)we we're talking.Have you ever ran so long and fast,Well keep reading and find out?

It took long until our turn. While we we're waiting until year sixes we're called to run we played hand games. Also we we're Still talking and bored.Until the year sixed we're called. I knew it was our turn,Then we walked to the starting line and got ready for the race.

We we're waiting For the clappers to clap we waited and got ready.CLAP!And then we ran fast Past The goal post then running on the bike track,Then we ran through the gates and suddenly It was MUDDY AND WET!!I was stomping and tried to run fast. Then we ran around the Pt England reserve.I was almost at the finish line Before i made it my friend Jayden just past me then we shook hands at the end of the race

If my nana will give me this chocolate, i will try to eat the half of the packet.

In the inside the chocolate it contains green mint and little pieces of black chocolate . But on the outside it has chocolate. And i kinda like the chocolate product.

It looked yuck but if I tasted the chocolate it tasted like mint and i am not a big fan of mint but is tasted yummy and crunchy. The first time i ate the chocolate it taste yuck but then i get use it.when I felt it the corners of the chocolate it was rough.but on the top it was smooth. It smelt like mint and chocolate together and it tasted like toothpaste

Have less mint. More crunch in it.

I woke up on a island. There's sand in my close and wet too. I was mad and scared then I cried and my legs was wobbling. I see trees on the island I had an idea and I see sticks and stones on the beach.

I went in the forest is see sticks and stones I gather as much as I could and build a campfire and shelter so i cold be warm inside. Then climb a tree and get giant leaves. I try make fire before sunset.   
I find sticks and a sharp stone and sharp the stick to make a spear to catch a fish. Then stab coconuts from a tree and drink the drink in the coconut I go into the trees and try find some kind of meat like rabbit,fox,pig,lamb and chicken. First I make a snare (a snare is some kind of lure I use)I put the snare where animals eat like a bush and I any bait inside the snare. Climb a tree and I waited then I saw a animal trigger my snare so I take that animal it was a rabbit and make a cooking spit.

I try to make a fire a big fire and it's very hard to make it and you sweat a lot. when it’s on fire I put big and small if i wanted too. Then i went to sleep.

The next day I woke up and saw a rescue helicopter. It must of seen my smoke that I made yesterday . it landed on the beach and I walked up to the driver of the helicopter.  I was pleased and felt good then he took me home.
