Dear helpers,Thank you for everything you did at Athletics Day.It was exciting and fun,I loved it.

Athletics day was very fun and also very AWESOME! Also it was kinda funny as well. Is was a great day.

My favourite sport is dodgeball.I was cheering for my mate because he was the last one standing for his team.Also at high jump,Leite was the last one to jump over the pole and he did!Everyone was running to him and was yelling as well.

Next year I hope it will be more fun.Also more stuff to do.Next year i might be able to be more better.

I enjoyed doing Athletic day.Also i learnt to not jump over the pole with two legs together in high jump.

lepa Immersion Assembly Writing

Walt: use adjectives to improve our descriptive writing.

Have you ever heard Music?.Well our whole school is learning about music,We had our school teams

doing their stuff.Also i am excited to start this term.

Our school theme is music madness! It is about music and instruments.Team 1-5 are learning about music as well,the other teams had plays and movies about what they are doing this term.

Team four is making our own music and instruments.For our team movie was our teachers carpooling in there vehicle ,also when they parked in our school carpark then mr j winded his window in his van and Showed off his tunes.      

I want to learn about playing instruments that i never played before.Also i hope that we can play appropriate music.Lastly i want to learn about How to use weird  instruments.   

I think this term's theme is great.I would like some music in my life.

lepa Stardome

Walt include a variety of sentence types in our writing

On thursday we went to Stardome. It was a place where we learn about space and our solar

system. Stardome is in auckland,One tree hill and that's where Team four went.

We jumped on the bus and went to stardome.Then we arrived, our teacher Mr goodwin said that we had spare time to do anything.There was a park next to stardome and we play on it.Mr called us then we went to stardome.

Ours teachers took us inside stardome. We sat down in chairs and learnt about space.Then we had a quizz,we had a paper and pen to write down the answers. We had to go around inside stardome there was pictures and writing under the picture.

When we finished the quiz we were lead into the dome.I imagined shooting an arrow at the top of the dome, like on the hunger games. Inside the dome were laid-back chairs to watch the movie upwards. When it was done we went outside then we jumped on the bus back to school.

I enjoyed watching the movie on the dome.I learnt that we can't hold the sun.Also i learnt that the sun is the biggest star in our solar system.I learnt too that uranus and neptune are ice giants in our solar system

lepa Cross Country

Last friday we Had a school cross country run. When we we're waiting for the year sixes(Me and the year sixes.)we we're talking.Have you ever ran so long and fast,Well keep reading and find out?

It took long until our turn. While we we're waiting until year sixes we're called to run we played hand games. Also we we're Still talking and bored.Until the year sixed we're called. I knew it was our turn,Then we walked to the starting line and got ready for the race.

We we're waiting For the clappers to clap we waited and got ready.CLAP!And then we ran fast Past The goal post then running on the bike track,Then we ran through the gates and suddenly It was MUDDY AND WET!!I was stomping and tried to run fast. Then we ran around the Pt England reserve.I was almost at the finish line Before i made it my friend Jayden just past me then we shook hands at the end of the race

is a story of jefry. His Dream was to explore every planet in our solar system. Jefry grabbed his astrosuit
and went to the space station.
He arrived at the space station.His spaceship name was bestie he climbed in bestie and started the countdown. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1… BLAST OFF!
He landed in mercury known as the 1st planet from the sun. As before he even touched the ground he was hot. No one will live here. And he went to the next planet.
He arrived at venus. The 2nd planet from the sun.It was super hot he was tippy toeing and jump back inside the spaceship. It was very very hot nobody will never live on venus.So he went to the next planet.
He past earth because he knows his planet. the 3rd planet from the sun. So he went to the next planet.
Jefry made it to mars. the 4th planet from the sun. It's rusty and dusty. No one will live on mars. So he went to the next planet. He landed on jupiter the 5th planet from the sun. Jupiter has gas known as carbon dioxide. No one will live here. So he went to the next planet.
He arrived at saturn. The 6th planet from the sun. Saturn has rings around it. This planet has gas too. No none will live here. So he went to the next planet.
He stopped at uranus. The 7th planet from the sun. It's very cold. No one will live here so he went to the next planet.
He landed on neptune. The 8th planet from the sun it is very very cold. Also it was very windy too. No one will live here.So he went back to earth
He returned to earth and didn't figured out what planet he could live on.Then he remembered that he can live on earth. How silly he is.

If my nana will give me this chocolate, i will try to eat the half of the packet.

In the inside the chocolate it contains green mint and little pieces of black chocolate . But on the outside it has chocolate. And i kinda like the chocolate product.

It looked yuck but if I tasted the chocolate it tasted like mint and i am not a big fan of mint but is tasted yummy and crunchy. The first time i ate the chocolate it taste yuck but then i get use it.when I felt it the corners of the chocolate it was rough.but on the top it was smooth. It smelt like mint and chocolate together and it tasted like toothpaste

Have less mint. More crunch in it.

I woke up on a island. There's sand in my close and wet too. I was mad and scared then I cried and my legs was wobbling. I see trees on the island I had an idea and I see sticks and stones on the beach.

I went in the forest is see sticks and stones I gather as much as I could and build a campfire and shelter so i cold be warm inside. Then climb a tree and get giant leaves. I try make fire before sunset.   
I find sticks and a sharp stone and sharp the stick to make a spear to catch a fish. Then stab coconuts from a tree and drink the drink in the coconut I go into the trees and try find some kind of meat like rabbit,fox,pig,lamb and chicken. First I make a snare (a snare is some kind of lure I use)I put the snare where animals eat like a bush and I any bait inside the snare. Climb a tree and I waited then I saw a animal trigger my snare so I take that animal it was a rabbit and make a cooking spit.

I try to make a fire a big fire and it's very hard to make it and you sweat a lot. when it’s on fire I put big and small if i wanted too. Then i went to sleep.

The next day I woke up and saw a rescue helicopter. It must of seen my smoke that I made yesterday . it landed on the beach and I walked up to the driver of the helicopter.  I was pleased and felt good then he took me home.

We had to think about great or smart ideas for this term. The teachers were thinking about your topic is.

As i said now that’s thinking is our topic for this term. It’s like we had to use your

brain very good and focus on your work. Team one and two are doing kite’s this term.

Team three are doing matariki and team five are fixing their stuff around their classes.

Our team (team four) topic is what kind of technology did Maori use before pakeha arrived in new Zealand.

We had a movie that the team four teacher’s made and thinking what our topic is.

Our teachers think we can time travel back in time.

I hope we learn about constructing small and cool things that team four can build with steel,

wood,metal and screws. Another thing that i want to learn about is how maori cook their food in the olden days

because microwaves and ovens.

I think the school topic is great and smart. Because in the holiday were wernt smart

Our teacher Mr Goodwin said we had to included our made up insect and our made up bug in our food web. There are different types of insects and bugs.
